The Pokémon Special Championship awaits you at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago on June 4 and 5!

The highly anticipated Play! Pokémon Special Championship for Pokémon Video Games and the Pokémon Trading Card Game will take place on June 4 and 5, 2022 at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago (MI).

Players from all over the world will battle to earn Championship Points that will gain them an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships to be held in London this August.

This Pokémon Special Event is free and open to players of all ages and countries. Participants will be divided into three age categories: Junior (born in 2010 or later), Senior (born in 2006-2009 inclusive) and Master (born in 2005 or earlier).

The tournament will follow the official formats of the Play! Pokémon program. Pokémon players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck, or they must bring their own copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield together with their system from the Nintendo Switch family, and a legal team.

In order to participate, player must have a Player ID, which can be obtained by registering a Trainer Club account on the official Pokémon website and comply with current COVID-19 requirements.

Registration will take place online, by allowing players to register in time and get one of the available seats. More information on how to participate will be shortly published.
