Get ready for Side Events, lots of fun and the exclusive Goodie Bag at the Pokémon Special Championship in Bologna!

Only a few days left until the Play! Pokémon Special Championship of Bologna! On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2024, over 2500 players from all over the world will compete to win an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii and lots of Championship Points.

But there won’t only be challenges in the main tournaments! For all players, spectators and guardians there will be many Side Events on both days of the event with fun formats and lots of prizes. To find out more details and the complete schedule click here.

For the first time in Italy there will also be a Fun Area with many activities for enthusiasts, for example Nintendo Switch gaming stations, drawing contests, Pokémon trivia, board games and much more!

During the event it will also be possible to purchase the official Goodie Bag of the Pokémon Special Championship of Bologna, which includes the Pokémon Regionals Playmat, an exclusive Promo Card, an English blister pack of the new expansion GCC Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade, a String bag and a pen for only €20 (while stocks last).

This special Pokémon Championship event is free and open to players of all ages and countries. Access to the venue will be allowed for attendees who have properly registered online through RK9.gg, a platform used for all major official Play! Pokémon events. Players will also need a Player ID, which can be obtained by registering a Trainer Club account on the official Pokémon website.
