Durante la notte tra il 7 e l’8 dicembre si sono svolti i TGA 2023, evento annuale dove vengono premiati i migliori videogiochi presenti sul mercato con in palio la possibilità di diventare il Game of the Year 2023. Tuttavia non sono mancate le sorprese e i grandi annunci, affiancati da premi minori ma che hanno permesso di far scoprire al pubblico pregi e qualità nascoste di molti dei titoli usciti durante l’anno.
Il GOTY 2023
Anche quest’anno la sfida per quale dovesse essere il miglior gioco del 2023 è stata rovente con ben sei titoli a darsi battaglia ma alla fine a spuntarla è stato solo uno: Baldur’s Gate 3!
Il GDR sviluppato e pubblicato da Larian Studios si è rivelato come un ottimo titolo, rifinito in ogni sua meccanica e in grado di coinvolgere i giocatori in un mondo fantasy ricco di vita e personaggi scritti in maniera ottimale. Il team ha fatto incetta di premi aggiudicandosi anche quelli di Best Performance, Best RPG, Best Community Support, Best Multiplayer e Players’ Voice.
Vale la pena ricordare anche gli sfidanti che, pur non avendo vinto, si sono dimostrati ottimi giochi con risultati più che soddisfacenti da parte di pubblico e critica, ossia Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Super Mario Bros Wonder e The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Ma i TGA 2023 servono a premiare anche altre categorie oltre al miglior gioco dell’anno e come sempre non sono mancate alcune interessanti sorprese, il tutto accompagnato da trailer e annunci dei titoli che potremo vedere in futuro su tutte le piattaforme presenti sul mercato.
