Information
Access to the venue will be allowed for attendees who have properly registered online, just in the case the player is a minor or for proven medical needs the access will be allowed up to two designated guardians. Players up to age 17 (inclusive) must be accompanied at least by one parent or supervisor. More information about attending the event as spectator will be shortly published.
There are no check-in operations, when the doors open the players will have to enter the venue and wait for the publication of the pairings.
There are various refreshment points inside the venue and in the outdoor area of Lingotto Fiere, it will be permitted to consume food or drink only in the dedicated areas.
A charging point area for smartphones will be available to players, guardians and spectator. There will be also an approved vendor of Pokémon cards and official merchandise available on site.

Registration
This special Pokémon Championship event is free and open to players of all ages and countries. Participants for Pokémon Video Game and Pokémon Trading Card Game will be divided into three age categories: Junior (born in 2011 or later), Senior (born in 2007-2010 inclusive) and Master (born in 2006 or earlier). There are no age categories for Pokémon GO players, who must be over 13 years old.
In order to participate, player must have a Player ID, which can be obtained by registering a Trainer Club account on the official Pokémon website.
There will be 2016 seats available for Pokémon Video Game, Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon GO players.

To ensure that all players can participate, available registration seats will be opened on RK9.gg in several waves:

Attention!
Players registered in the first and second waves must enter their Team List or Deck List (temporary, not definitive) with which they wish to participate in the tournament on RK9.gg by Thursday, May 25, 11.59 p.m. CEST, otherwise the registration will be automatically cancelled and the seats will be available again.Then all players must submit their final Team List or Deck List by 7:30 a.m. CEST on Saturday 3rd June.
If you decide not to take part in the event anymore, please cancel your registration to make space for other players.
We recommend that all players set up their account on RK9.gg platform before the registration opening, in order to speed up the registration process for the tournament when entries become available. Underage players must have an account linked to a parent or guardian profile to complete the registration (it is not necessary to be the same person who will accompany the player to the event).

Prizes and formats
The tournament will follow the official ruleset & formats of the Play! Pokémon program. Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck, Pokémon Video Games players must bring their own copy of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet together with their system from the Nintendo Switch family, and a legal team. Pokémon GO players must have a team of tournament-legal Pokémon for the Great League format in their account. For more information, visit the official Pokémon website.
For players with good results, there are plenty Championship Points (for VG and TCG) that will gain them an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships along with exclusive prizes from the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Schedule
Doors are scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. CEST both days. Players are expected to follow the schedule and show up at the designated area in time.
The pairings for VG and TCG will be available online through the RK9.gg platform and in the totems on site. The pairings for Pokémon GO will be available online through the Challonge platform.
Times are indicative and may be subject to change for organizational needs with or without notice. Exact timing for each event's meal break will be announced on-site for each event.

Spectators
Fans who don't wish to participate in the competition as a player but would like to attend the event as a spectator, can register exclusively online through the RK9.gg platform. A total of 400 free tickets will be available on Tuesday 23 May at 7:00 pm (CEST).

Each RK9 account can place 1 order with a maximum of 2 spectator tickets. Each ticket grants access to the event on both days. There isn't any limitation on birthdate, so any account can order. For security reasons, unregistered spectators will not be admitted to the event.
Access as a spectator grants you entry to the event area, allowing you to watch the tournament, make purchases at the shop and participate in Side Events.
Safety
There are no masks or restrictions related to COVID-19. In case of symptoms, we invite players to respect the safety protocols of the Play! Pokémon program.
